NON-EMERGENCY OPTIONS:
1 ) MyChart: A provider on-call, for non-emergency issues, can be reached by sending a message through the online patient portal MyChart at https://www.myuncchart.org/carrboropediatrics
Use My Chart for:
- Non-emergent prescription refills
- Appointment requests for urgent same-day visits, even on the weekends
- Urgent advice needs on weekends that can wait several hours for a response
2 ) Triage Nurse (fees may apply – see below): Contact the After Hours Triage Nurse for questions that need an immediate answer at night or on weekends.
- Note: there is a $20 charge per triage call. The fee will be waived for newborns up to 2 months of age.
- Please choose just one contact method (form or phone) below to avoid duplicate triage nurse call-backs, and to avoid delays and extra charges.

3) Next business day support: If you need an appointment in the office during normal business hours, you may leave a message on the office answering machine (919-933-8381), and we will call you back early the next business morning to schedule. You do not need to call the nurse triage line for this purpose.
